John Henigin - Host
In 1999 John Henigin thought a local radio show about fishing in Santa Barbara might work. Ten years later, he has been honored four times with The Outdoors Writers Association of California as “Best outdoor Radio Show of the Year”, and is now President of the organization. Fish Talk Radio has grown to cover about half the population of California on six stations and is syndicated Nationally on Sports Byline USA. Now WebTalkRadio.net takes it to a national audience.
John is the President of Outdoors Writers Association California (OWAC.org), Ambassador at Large of the VAGABUNDOS DEL MAR and is on the Boards of the Santa Barbara Carriage & Western Museum and of the Lake Cachuma Nature Center.
Living in Santa Barbara and a legal resident of Cabo San Lucas, John keeps a boat in Lake Cachuma and spends a lot of time after big game fish. As operator of “Reel Fun Adventures,” he hosts fishing trips to Alaska, Baja and Costa Rica as a regular part of his job. John also always finds time to sponsor kids’ fishing derbies and to take kids out on his boat at the lake.

20 years ago Mike left the world of Montana fly fishing to live in Mexico. He has not only hunted and fished all the premier locations in Mexico but he has recorded many of them for his own TV show "Adventures South of the Border" which airs on The World Fishing Network in the United States and Wild TV in Canada.

Phillip Friedman is the voice of the one of the most powerful fishing websites anywhere. WWW.976Tuna has grown to more than two million unique visitors per year. His regular e mail newsletter reaches over eighty thousand anglers.
Starting early as a deck hand with the San Diego Sport fishing fleet, then captain on the commercial vessel Thunderfish for three years.
Phillip went on to become an outdoor writer and columnist for well know newspapers in California. He has a syndicated fish report in 12 newspapers, is the Outdoor Writer for the Daily Breeze and contributes to Los Angles Times.com
Phillip's radio career started over 20 years ago as a sports announcer. He has hundreds of voice overs for radio and TV. Has hosted many radio shows including currently Fish Talk Radio on KLAA live from Angel Stadium. He also spends time in front of the camera with “Catch It” that airs on 976Tuna.
Phillip is fluent in Spanish, with frequent driving trips to Cabo San Lucas, years spent in Baja and Costa Rica teaching English to the poor,
Besides heading up the Christian Rodriguez Fund, taking care of cancer victims, Phillip has taken 50,000 deserving kids fishing on the water with the “976TunaYouth Fishing Program”.
